A Visit From Brazil

Unique opportunity yesterday – i was honored to meet with Rafael Zshaber, a funeral professional from Brazil who took time on vacation in Orlando to visit our Dignity Memorial Woodlawn Memorial Park. So interesting to learn about the industry from his perspective! There are some differences in how families honor loved ones. For example, about 70% of the families i serve choose cremation; in Brazil, it is still low – 15% or less choosing cremation.

Many things are very much the same – like the practice of pre-planning funeral and cemetery arrangements to protect family from financial and emotional burdens. Planning for the future is so important.
