The holiday season is coming – have you thought about how you or your business will be involved in making a difference?

I’m honored to volunteer with this project that supports local youth through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida. Please consider lending your hands, support, or location to increase our impact.

The 2021 STEM Gift Drive is ON!

The STEM Gift Drive is a GREAT opportunity to have a unique, meaningful impact.

We work to increase equitable access to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math-related toys, games, & books for at-risk youth in Central Florida.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida will receive all donations to support the youth in their STEM programs in 36 clubs in Central Florida, serving more than 11,000 future professionals.

What we’re looking for

New, unwrapped, high-quality STEM-themed toys, games, & books for middle and high school level youth. Science-themed gift wrap & bags are appreciated (separate from the gift).

Relevant gifts featuring women and minorities in STEM, Science-themed art kits & projects, and relevant STEM books in Spanish are all appreciated.

A future scientist in an affluent family would have access to telescopes, robotics kits, and other expensive items to encourage and inspire them. While there are many gift drives that bring in wonderful toys for children, a young scientist in a lower-income family dependent on gift drives or lower-cost items may instead receive game or toy that doesn’t ignite their interests. For older youth there are often not many donations; most go to the younger kids.

How can you help?

Donate! You can drop off a gift at one of our events or drop-off locations (find them HERE).
Prefer to donate money? Use our online fundraiser through the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Volunteer! We need awesome people to help with marketing, logistics, events, and more.
Businesses & Organizations – host a collection box at your place of business or help by doing a drive with your members, clients, or employees.
